In major cities in particular, the need for low-cost accommodation for students and trainees is growing, but competition is driving prices up. By the year 2017, Germany will have a shortfall of around 400,000 flats – a problem that will hit low income members of the population particularly hard.
SANI has designed a modern and low-cost solution to this problem: SmartLodge offers modular apartments for young people in apprenticeships or education that are ready to move in to. The project stands for low cost and uncomplicated young life in central or campus-adjacent locations. The living complexes are built by SANI with a versatile modular construction method, and therefore offer significant flexibility.
